Just a couple of days after Apple rolled out the new iOS 16.1 update, the tech giant has rolled out the new iOS 16.2 Beta update for some select iPhone users. The update has new features, bug fixes, improvements in the current software and much more. iOS 16.2 beta 1 is now available for developers around the world and the ones who have registered and activated the beta profile can download and install this build right away. iPhone users will get new exciting features including Freeform app, Home upgrades, expanded ProMotion support etc. Know how to download the iOS 16.2 Beta update here.
Open your iPhone and head to the Apple Beta page and register with your Apple ID.
There, login to the Beta Software Program.
Next, enroll your iOS device and then go to beta.apple.com/profile on your iOS device.
Agree to the Terms of Service and install the latest iOS16.2 beta version. Go to General > VPN and Device Management and then click on the iOS 16 beta profile.
Restart your iPhone and you’re all set to use your device and enjoy the latest features.
This update will introduce a Freeform app designed to work on multiple Apple devices, and hence it will also be included in both iOS 16.2 and the new macOS Ventura beta. The new update will also bring iPhones with 120Hz displays i.e, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro models will get a performance boost. Additionally, it will also get a new architecture for the Home app.
Meanwhile, Apple has introduced iOS 16.1 update with new exciting features including iCloud Shared Photo Library, Live Activities, Clean Energy charging, and others.
