A Pokémon fan has created an impressive piece of fanart that fuses two Pokémon together into one. Fusions are a somewhat unique expression of fandom, and have been popular within parts of the Pokémon fan community for over a decade now. There are even websites where fans can generate one of their own using any Pokémon that's ever appeared in the series.
Put simply, a Pokémon fusion is exactly what it is implied to be; a fusion of two or more separate Pokémon. Various fan artists have combined Pokémon traits in endlessly creative ways over the years, and some of these combinations have allowed for some truly impressive new designs. Of course, this is by no means a universal result. Some fusions can look remarkably silly or absurd, although these outcomes only add to the charm of the overall idea. A Slowpoke and a Tyrannitar could create a psychic, water-dwelling behemoth or, just as easily, something much smaller with a Slowpoke's trademark demeanor. The best Pokémon fusion art always looks very impressive and cool, but the occasional more lighthearted creation has its place too.

One of the latest additions to this unique art trend looks anything but silly, however. Reddit user Purplekaiju28 (via Game Rant) has created an extremely intimidating cross between Scizor and Latios, which looks to be the stuff of trainers' nightmares. The unnamed blue and black creation has Latios' head, torso, and lack of legs, but at the same time it also bears Scizor's wings and pincers. The coloration of these pincers' eye-like patches, red compared to a Scizor's yellow, has helped to prompt comments that the fusion resembles a regional variant of the three-headed
