Intel Announces Arc A750 GPU, Claims Nvidia RTX 3060 Performance for Less Than $300
Intel has unveiled its Arc A750 graphics card and claims it offers Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 performance for less than $300. The announcement of Intel's Arc graphics cards during a Tuesday presentation built up high expectations for the company's new endeavor into GPU offerings. Now Intel is following through with more specifics about its cards, and the A750 in particular. While the A770 may be Intel's flagship graphics card, the Intel Arc A750 is aiming to undercut Nvidia where it hurts most.
The A700 series of graphics cards from Intel will be the company's highest-performance GPUs for its first release. Initial details for A770 include 32 cores and a 2,100 MHz clock with a respectable 225w power draw. The A750 is said to feature the same chip, binned with around 87.5 of the perfect chip's shading units and RT units. Intel says it features 28 cores and a 2050MHz clock, but otherwise the same 8GB GDDR6 and 512 GB/s memory bandwidth. On Tuesday, the A770 was priced at $329 while the A750's price has only now been confirmed.

Intel is putting a very healthy price tag of $289 on the Intel Arc A750 graphics card. Also shared on Thursday is a comparison chart from Intel between the Arc A750 card and Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3060 card. Split into four categories, DirectX12 Optimized, DirectX 12, Vulkan, and DirectX 11, the A750 is shown to outperform the 3060 on DirectX 12 and Vulkan, while competing impressively with DirectX 11.
