The original game was a massive success, as Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales sold a combined total of over 33 million copies as of May 15, 2022. Marvel's Spider-Man came out on PS4 over four years ago, but the developer has released three pieces of DLC, a standalone expansion, and a remaster within this time frame. Insomniac Games now reaffirms the release year for Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
