I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson Creators To Film Computer School Pilot For HBO Max

Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin, the creators of Netflix's I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, are set to film a pilot for a new show called Computer School with HBO Max, Variety reports.

According to Variety, the show will focus on a high school graduate who attends the same computer class as his uncle in Michigan. Robinson will play the role of the uncle, and he's writing the show alongside Kanin. Andrew Gaynord (Haters Back Off) will direct the pilot.

Robinson and Kanin met initially while writing for Saturday Night Live's 2016 season, but have collaborated repeatedly since, co-creating Comedy Central's Detroiters, the aforementioned I Think You Should Leave, and the «Any Given Sunday Afternoon» episode of Documentary Now!

Robinson's shows have typically focused on awkward, absurdist humor. Fan-favorite skits include a lawyer's impassioned commercial asking if anyone other than him has had a toilet with a joke hole installed in their house, an embarrassing pants stain prevented by a non-existent line of pants, and a woman who got rich after being sewn into the pants of a Charlie Brown parade balloon deciding how to invest her money. If you like shirts with really complicated patterns that are exactly your type, you'll probably like this show should it get a season order. But don't worry--even if Robinson does a bad job, he still gets his fee.
