While the Hulk has proven to be one of the strongest heroes in the Marvel Universe as he contains the potential to deliver absolute mayhem on a planetary scale, even his potential can’t compare to that of his son whose power combo makes him the ultimate superhero–all thanks to the stark contrast of his parent’s abilities that have both manifested in him.
Bruce Banner became the Hulk after he was exposed to vast amounts of gamma radiation, forever mutating him in both body and mind. From that point forward, anytime Bruce became too angry or stressed, he would transform into the incredibly strong and virtually unkillable Hulk–all thanks to a military science experiment gone wrong.

In Incredible Hulk #92 by Greg Pak and Carlo Pagulayan, the Hulk is tricked by the members of the Illuminati off-world and is exiled from Planet Earth to the far-off planet of Sakaar where he was meant to spend the rest of his days away from the rest of humanity. While the Illuminati hoped Hulk would find peace in this new world, the vicious nature of Sakaar only contributed to the Hulk’s more violent tendencies–and he absolutely loved it. The Hulk was initially angry that he was tricked by the people he thought were his friends, but after the Hulk came into his own on Sakaar, he truly accepted his life there because the Hulk was applauded for being himself rather than feared or hated. It was on Sakaar that Hulk met his wife, Caiera, and where the two had their son, Skaar.
