Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a loot-heavy game, which is why it's important for the player to dismantle any gear they aren't using. Stranger of Paradise has lots of jobs for the player to experiment with, but the level of gear they're using is equally as important. The stat buffs and affinity boosts they provide will make the party strong enough to handle the minions of Chaos.
The gameplay in Stranger of Paradise is like a more action-centric version of Nioh. The player does have access to magic spells, but the MP needed to use them runs out quickly. As such, the main character will need to engage in melee combat and start whacking the enemies, in order to refresh their MP and use it to perform special abilities. The player should regularly keep track of their gear and make sure they're using the best stuff available, especially when going into a boss fight, as some of them can be brutally difficult.

Stranger of Paradise has eight weapon types and numerous different types of armor. The game does a good job of providing gear for every job option, but that means the player will soon be drowning in weapons and armor bits that they can't use. Inventory management is key in Stranger of Paradise and part of that is dismantling things that aren't being used, in order to improve the gear that is currently equipped, or is being saved for a different job further down the road.
