Kirby has been ingesting creatures for decades, so it's about time that he becomes the snack. Amazon is currently taking preorders on a Kirby-themed silicone mold. The mold has 12 different Kirby expressions that will imprint on whichever delicious treats you decide to make. This is an officially licensed product, so rest assured that Nintendo has graciously allowed Kirby to be devoured by fans across the world.
Nintendo even provided some suggestions for how to prepare Kirby for snack time. The Amazon listing suggests baking chocolates, making jellies, and even freezing Kirby into ice so you can enjoy him on the rocks. On a serious note, this tray is pretty small (7.67 x 5.5 inches), so each Kirby snack will bite-sized. You won't really be able to savor the flavor, which feels appropriate considering Kirby's own eating habits.
Kirby's silicone mold costs $22 and releases on April 24. I have to admit that sounds rather pricey for a small tray like this, but I guess Kirby is a delicacy.
In other news, Kirby returns for another adventure next week on Nintendo Switch. Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the first 3D platformer in series history. In addition to Kirby's familiar copy abilities, the little dude can also wrap himself around objects such as cars and traffic cones.
