Stuntwoman Cassandra Ebner explains how the Shazam! bus crash stunt was created, utilizing an old rollercoaster to create the vertical set. Ebner has enjoyed a successful career as both an actress and stuntwoman in the industry, appearing in both The Flash and Arrow in minor roles while also providing stunt work to both Arrowverse shows as well as Batwoman and Supergirl. She has also been a stunt double in a number of high-profile films, including the Warcraft movie adaptation, War for the Planet of the Apes, Deadpool 2 and Disney's upcoming Peter Pan & Wendy live-action film.
Asher Angel and Zachary Levi led the cast of Shazam! as Billy Batson and his adult counterpart who become the titular superhero after being empowered by the ancient wizard of the same name and fighting against Dr. Thaddeus Sivana and the Seven Deadly Sins with the help of his foster brother, Jack Dylan Grazer's Freddy Freeman. Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! was a hit upon release, scoring largely positive reviews for its shift in tone from previous DC Extended Universe films and the performances of its cast while also grossing over $366 million against its reported $100 million budget.
