Right before it came out, we learned that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands would include Crossplay to PC, Xbox, Stadia, and PlayStation (the last of which wasn't possible in Borderlands 3). It was fantastic news for fans who just want to play with their PlayStation-owning friends.

Upon starting Tiny Tina's Wonderlands for the first time, you'll be asked if you want to allow Crossplay through SHiFT. If you agree and signup, you'll be able to play with people on other platforms! We'll detail how to go about doing just that.
Start by reviewing all the Network and Social Settings. These will allow you to adjust who you will engage with and talk to in the game. Basically: do you want it to be limited only to the people you know, or not?
After that's done, you can click on the little group of pals with a plus sign in front of them in the upper right-hand side of the main menu or pause menu to access more multiplayer features. You'll notice that there's a 'SHiFT' section here, which allows you to connect a SHiFT account to the game so that you can earn extra rewards. At the time of this writing, it doesn't seem to be necessary to do this in order to play with others.
Once you're leading a party, whether it's made up of friends or strangers, you can adjust its settings with the gear icon in the pause menu or main menu.
