Based on PlayStation Trophy data, only a small number of players have beaten the story in Horizon Forbidden West, thus far; however, that's not too surprising given the title's length. A sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn, Forbidden West pushes the envelope for the series in myriad ways, specifically with its bigger cast of characters, much larger open-world, and deeper side quests.
Set six months after the events of Zero Dawn, the newest Guerrilla Games title follows Nora huntress Aloy as she heads west in search of a way to stop a deadly blight and restore the Earth's biosphere. She encounters numerous obstacles along the way, including a ruthless band of rebels, formidable machines, and a wider threat no one could've seen coming. But the overarching narrative and core gameplay loop isn't the only main draw this time around. The crew at Guerrilla placed special emphasis on side quests for Horizon Forbidden West, with many of them cleverly interweaving with the plot. It could explain why so few players have seen Aloy's newest adventure through to completion.

As noted by Push Square, PlayStation Trophy data shows that 14 percent of players have completed the main storyline in Horizon Forbidden West. It may seem like a small pool of users at first glance, but the title launched three weeks ago and boasts a robust open world filled with places to see, people to meet, and a wide variety of things to do. The main arc runs pretty long, too, meaning that those who aren't exclusively following the golden path will need more time to find out how things end for Aloy and friends.
