Caverns of Corrosion are distortions unlocked after completing the Trailblaze Mission named The Stars Are Cold Toys. You can spend Trailblaze Power to tackle combat gauntlets inside these, which will reward you with Relics which can be used to help level up characters. As you progress through the game and increase your Trailblaze Level and Equilibrium Level, higher difficulty levels are unlocked with rarer rewards.
