Hollow Knight: Silksong has quickly become one of the most anticipated upcoming PS5 games and upcoming Xbox Series X games. After years of radio silence, Team Cherry joined the Xbox and Bethesda Game Showcase at E3 2022 to reveal a brand new gameplay trailer and, as part of the reveal, also announced a 2023 release window and Xbox Game Pass day one drop.
Hollow Knight has become something of a legendary indie game. In fact, Hollow Knight broke its own concurrent user record on Steam back in August 2022! There's a good reason players are still diving into this wonderful adventure, and we hope that Team Cherry is able to capture that same magic again for Silksong.
Thankfully, we don't have long to wait to find out. The studio has teased that we may even get a playable Hollow Knight Silksong build within the next year. While we wait for that, why don't you keep scrolling to check out the new trailer and to find everything we know about Hollow Knight: Silksong so far.
Xbox has narrowed the Hollow Knight: Silksong release date, and has confirmed that the long-awaited title will drop before June 2023. Everything featured in the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 is set to drop in the next 12 months, and the gaming giant has since taken to Twitter (opens in new tab) to confirmed that, yes, that includes Team Cherry's long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong.
The Hollow Knight: Silksong platforms have been confirmed as Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC – via Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store. Additionally, Team Cherry has confirmed that a Hollow Knight: Silksong Xbox Game Pass release has been secured, meaning it'll be available to all subscribers on the day of release in 2023.
Ever since Team Cherry
