Hogwarts Legacy: How to Unlock The House Chest
Being sorted into a House in leads players to their living quarters within the iconic castle, where they can spot a House Chest that they may be able to unlock through enough exploration. Located in the house dorm room, the House Chest stores tokens associated with the player's house and gives an exclusive cloak with that house's emblem as a reward for opening it. Unfortunately, despite the ease at which this container first appears, players will have to track down several objects called Daedalian Keys around Hogwarts to gain the benefits offered.
There are 16 Daedalian Keys scattered throughout Hogwarts, seen by the player after their first couple of lessons when a student points out these floating keys that travel towards a specific cabinet. Completing a quick mini-game at any of the cabinets these keys lead to gives players a house emblem, which helps unlock the House Chest if all sixteen emblems are collected. Unfortunately, many of these sections where cabinets are found do not open up to the player until some progress has been made through the main story. Therefore, players may have to return to this task periodically as they discover new locations in .

Astronomy Tower
Simply follow the quest marker from the key to the Astronomy classroom.
Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower
Down the hall from the classroom, downstairs near a giant skeletal creature displayed.
Central Hall
Close to the hallway leading to the Potions classroom, right beside a puzzle door.
North Hall
Right near the globe past the Transfiguration Courtyard, where the key leads to the cabinet up a following set of stairs.
