A year after its release as an Epic Games Store exclusive, Hitman 3 has now made its way over to Steam. However, the January 2021 release wasn’t the celebration that developer IO Interactive had hoped it to be. For starters, players were upset to see a higher price point than that seen on the Epic Games Store. There was also confusion surrounding Hitman 3‘s many editions and upgrades on Steam. Players who own or purchase the standard edition of Hitman 3 on Steam, will get a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition. This edition includes special Escalation Contracts, new suits, items, and digital copies of the game’s soundtrack and the World of Hitman book. The extra content is nice, but it does have a price tag of $34.99 USD, so getting it for free is pretty nice. Players who already own the Deluxe Edition will instead gain access to the Seven Deadly Sins Collection, a seven-act-long expansion that offers up new contracts and items. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re a big fan of Hitman 3, and getting it for free is a fantastic deal.
