He and his company Kojima Productions have been busy working on a variety of games and other media projects in the past year, with a project known as Overdose leaking and a collaboration between Kojima and Xbox being announced. Aside from being a game designer, Kojima is also active on social media, sharing his thoughts on various mainstream shows like the Amazon Prime series The Boys.

The Boys originally released in 2019 and has accrued a big following in the years since it premiered. Many critics and fans had praised the series for its commentary on celebrity and commercialization culture, as well as the deluge of Superhero-related media in the past decade.
