Hell Let Loose has quite the roadmap for 2022, one that includes a British Forces update, new maps, and more. The year may be more than half over now, but there's still plenty of content to come in the future, not all of which has been revealed by developer Black Matter. What has been revealed sounds exciting, however, and should further diversify the WW2 shooter's already successful gameplay formula. The most recent update for Hell Let Loose, Falling Dark, released July 19, and it came with a selection of new content for players to enjoy — including night maps.
Hell Let Loose is a hardcore FPS set in World War 2 with battles of 100 players with tanks, infantry, and artillery. It sets itself apart from other FPS war games with detailed strategic systems that require extensive teamwork. Each individual player has a role to play, whether it's as a commander, a tank crew member, or infantry. Hell Let Loose's multiplayer battles are terrifying due to their realistic gameplay and depictions of war that prioritize historical accuracy over customization. The gunfights are far different from games such as Call of Duty and Battlefield, as depending on what gun their opponents are using, players may find themselves killed by a single bullet. Scopes are only available to snipers, and the front line also shifts in real-time as teams lose and gain ground. For these reasons, Hell Let Loose is a chaotic game that is not for the faint of heart, but can be an exciting experience for the right player.
