Halo Infinite officially came out in December 2021, with the multiplayer component available from November as a free-to-play title. Halo Infinite was originally supposed to be a launch title for the Xbox Series X but was delayed by more than a year. Since then, Halo Infinite’s player count has dwindled, but 343 Industries continues to make improvements and has detailed some major updates coming to the game.
343 Industries has just revealed a roadmap for the content coming to Halo Infinite up until June 2023. This content is divided into two categories – Winter Update and Season 3. Halo Infinite’s Winter Update will run from November 8 to March 7, while Season 3 lasts from March 7 to June 27. Both of them will include new maps, game modes, battle passes, events, and more.
Halo Infinite Yappening Event Announced for Next Week
The Winter Update for Halo Infinite will come with the highly-anticipated Forge Beta. Forge was missing from Halo Infinite’s launch and several videos have appeared online showing the mode in action. One player even managed to recreate PT in Halo Infinite’s Forge mode, and it won’t be long before the audience gets their hands on the map editor. Winter Update will also add new features like campaign network co-op and the ability to replay missions. It comes with two new maps named Detachment and Argyle, and a free 30-tier battle pass. Furthermore, the attached image mentions a new game mode called Covert One Flag and quality-of-life improvements.
