Ubisoft revealed the next major crossover planned for its popular free-to-play fighting game Brawlhalla during the latest Ubisoft Forward. According to the company, a couple of characters from Castlevania will be coming to the game as part of an upcoming update currently scheduled to be released on October 19, 2022. Castlevania is an intellectual property owned by Konami.
“Today during Ubisoft Forward, the Brawlhalla team announced Brawlhalla-vania, the next Epic Crossover for the free-to-play fighting game,” Ubisoft later explained in a statement. “In collaboration with Konami Digital Entertainment, two new fighters will join the fray.”

When it comes to the specifics, Ubisoft gave some details about the characters in question. “Simon Belmont, an Epic Crossover for Jhala, is a seventeenth century vampire hunter belonging to the Belmont clan and will bring his Vampire Killer whip to battle,” the company said. “Then there's Alucard, an Epic Crossover for Ezio, who is Dracula's son (in fact, his name is ‘Dracula’ in reverse). He stands firmly against his father's evil beliefs and uses his expert sword skills and dark magic to fight his father's wrath as well as any opponents who dare stand in his way.”
This only represents the latest in a long line of crossovers for Brawlhalla. The Rock and John Cena from WWE for example have both made appearances in the game along with Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, Po from Kung Fu Panda, and the eponymous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There have also been characters from The Walking Dead and Street Fighter.
