One of the biggest complaints when it comes to the Halo series so far is that there simply hasn't been enough action. The television show that is based on the shooter video game was expected to have all kinds of combat through the series' first run. However, so far there have been two episodes that have actually had any real fighting between the UNSC and the Covenant. Halo Episode 6 goes back to not having all that much action involved but it does replace some of the downtime with a bit of intrigue and on the whole, it suits the episode very well.
In fact, Halo has largely decided to ignore the inner workings of the UNSC for some more heavy-handed «they're evil» scenes that show all the people involved in the situation are bad guys, but just sort of Batman villain bad guys. That includes Halsey who has mostly been shown off to be some sort of lone ranger when it comes to some of the evil deeds she did to make the Spartans. This episode colors in between quite a few lines to show just how evil some very basic rules and regulations can become in the wrong hands.

The sixth episode of Halo picks up where the previous installment left off. The UNSC is picking up the pieces after The Covenant attack and one of those pieces just happens to be what certainly seems like a sleeper agent in the form The Blessed One. It took six episodes but the audience finally learns that this character is indeed named Makee and she is once again acting as though she was a prisoner against her will of The Covenant. This particular act is similar to the one she used in order to take over the UNSC ship and wipe out everyone on board.
