The 17-year-old who allegedly was behind the Rockstar hack has pleaded not guilty in court.
That's according to Bloomberg Law, as reported by VGC, which says that the teenage boy denied using a mobile phone to hack into multiple companies in a London youth court. Prosecutor Valerie Benjamin said that the teenager was "holding them to ransom" to illegally obtain materials. This includes over 90 in-development gameplay videos for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6.
The case will now be heard at a higher court after Benjamin referred the case on.
The teenager was arrested last week in Oxfordshire and charged with two cases of both breach of bail and computer misuse.
It's alleged that the teenager in question was part of, or at least connected to, the Lapsus$ hacking group that has been responsible for intrusions against tech giants such as Uber, Microsoft and Nvidia.
