Gran Turismo 7's economy has become a major sticking point for many players. Races that paid out better were used to grind out credits by players, with some turning to online forums to share tips. But following a controversial update these races were targeted by Polyphony as their payouts were reduced. But now a player has come up with an ingenious way to grind out credits that allows them to earn huge amounts without even having to play themselves.
As reported by VGC, a Septomor posted to the forum PSNProfiles a trick that allows players to farm in-game currency without needing to pick up a controller. The technique employs a script that exploits the Remote Play feature on PlayStation. Using the Remote Play app via Windows devices, the script repeatedly runs the same race, thereby generating millions of credits, all without the player needing to use a controller.

One user who employed this technique said they had managed to earn "15 million credits per day", according to VGC, which is an amount that would cost a player around £120 if purchased as a Gran Turismo 7 credit pack. GT7's microtransactions have been under the spotlight as the devs appear to be emphasising real-world money expenditure for these credit packs, as grinding is targeted to become less effective. Simply put, it seems to be harder than ever to earn enough credits in the game to buy better cars.
