Gotham Knights will get a four-player cooperative game mode after its scheduled launch later this month. It also looks like two players can select the same character when playing Gotham Knights in co-op mode. Now, WB Games Montreal has revealed that Gotham Knights will get a new game mode that allows four fans to play together.

This Gotham Knights mode is called Heroic Assault, and it will launch for free on November 29, just a month after the game’s official release. The Twitter account of Gotham Knights has posted a link to an FAQ that shares further details regarding this four-player cooperative experience. It confirms that Heroic Assault will be separate from the main story of Gotham Knights. While playing this mode, users will fight enemies in an arena-like environment, and they will be tasked with completing specific objectives.
The Heroic Assault game mode for Gotham Knights will feature 30 floors in total, and users will require a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online. Judging by the FAQ, Heroic Assault appears to be a standard wave defense game mode with a few objectives to mix up the gameplay.
