Primed and ready for its late October launch window, Gotham Knights has slowly been getting nudged into the limelight by WB Games Montreal. One of the main attractions of the game's pre-release promotional campaign have certainly been its character featurettes, which show off each of the four playable characters' unique abilities and approaches to the core gameplay loop.
With three characters having received their own trailers already, it was only a matter of time before Gotham Knights' Red Hood got his own exclusive gameplay showcase, and the game's official channel has just pushed one out. Armed with less-than-lethal handguns and some powerful magical abilities, this particular version of the Red Hood may one of the most powerful versions of the character yet.
Gotham Knights Developers Believe Killing Batman was a Good Idea
While WB Games Montreal has already shown off plenty of Arkham Knights gameplay, the specifics of how each and every character behaves in moment-to-moment gameplay are still mainly unknown. Each of the four previously featured character videos offered a bit more insight into how they behave, and Red Hood's trailer, in particular, is all about Gun Kata. Whereas Batgirl, Robin, and Nightwing dispatch their foes by beating them into submission, Red Hood shoots them down, instead.
Much like the three previous character showcases, this new trailer makes good use of Gotham Knights' custom hero suits, giving players a solid look at what manner of armor Red Hood will be able to wear in-game. From tactical combat vests all the way to demonic-looking body armor, this iteration of Jason Todd will be fully customizable depending on what sort of Red Hood players might be hoping to embody.
