The file size of Gotham Knights has been revealed ahead of its scheduled release later this month. Gotham Knights comes out next week on October 21 for current-gen consoles and PC. Despite being announced as a cross-gen title, the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Gotham Knights were canceled earlier this year.

Nowadays, many games take up a ton of storage space, with some even crossing the 100 GB mark. PS5 features impressive compressing technology known as Kraken, but its effects vary between games. For example, Dying Light 2 on PS5 was roughly half the size of its PS4 counterpart despite being a more graphically intensive version. PlayStation Game Size on Twitter reveals that the PS5 version of Gotham Knights will take up 41.030 GB of storage space. The number was fairly standard for AAA games during the previous generation and appears to be a bit lower than other games that are releasing these days. PlayStation Game Size also states that preload will begin on October 19, two days before the game’s launch. It should be noted that this number is for the PS5 version, so it’s possible for Gotham Knights to take less or even more space on other platforms.
