Google announced the new Pixel 7 with a new Tensor G2 chip, which promised to result in better and faster Voice assistance: live translate, Google Assistant, and voice typing. Google claims that machine learning runs 60 per cent faster on Pixel 7. Also, Google promises five years of security updates. While on the other hand, iPhone 14 continues to ship the same A15 Bionic chipset that the previous year's iPhone 13 Pro had introduced.
The new Tensor G2 chipset is not just said to improve performance on the Pixel 7, but also the camera performance. It features a dual camera setup of a 50MP primary camera coupled with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. However, there are some touted upgrades in the Pixel 7 camera, all thanks to the new chipset. It includes new Cinematic Blur video mode, Photo Unblur which uses machine learning to remove blur in the photos, and said to have fast Night Sight than before. On the front, it comes with an upgraded ultrawide front-facing camera, with a larger sensor, which claims to have better night-time selfies, 4K videos, and more.
