Google Girl Hackathon 2022; Know how to apply
Google India has invited online applications for 'women coders' to participate in Girl Hackathon 2022. Female graduates who have completed their degree in computer science or allied courses can apply for the Google India Girl Hackathon 2022. The applicants will have to register in a group of three teams by visiting the official website of Girls Hackathon buildyourfuture.withgoogle.com. The applicants will also have to choose a 'team leader' at the time of registration. The programme is open for all women students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in computer science and/or related circuit branches. The programme will run from March 19, 2022 to April 30, 2022 and interested candidates can apply till March 9, 2022 until 11:59 am IST.
The Google India Girl Hackathon 2022 programme is divided between two groups- Group A will be for 2024 and 2025 graduates who are in bachelors, masters or integrated dual degrees and related courses while Group B is for 2022 and 2023 graduates.
The programme will comprise three rounds- Google online challenge, Design document round and Virtual hackathon round. In the first round, all participants will be required to participate in the Google Online Challenge, which will be a coding challenge. It will assess participants online in the areas of coding/puzzles. It will be held on March 19, 2022 and the results for GOC as well as the next round will be announced on March 24, 2022.
Round two, the design document round will have a tech theme/challenge (it being 'Future of Learning' this year) that requires innovative solutions.
