A new GoldenEye 007 mod adds a new campaign based on the classic Bond movie, ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’. GoldenEye 007 is perhaps one of the most iconic game of all time, as it was an inspiration to many shooters that we see today. From amazing gameplay to an absolute banger of a soundtrack, the game set a benchmark for all tripple-A developers. The mod has added a whole new campaign experience to the game, based on Roger Moore’s iconic 1995 movie.
As spotted by Eurogamer, the mod is part of a fan project which is available on N64 Vault. As of now, there is a demo available for the mod, consisting of three playable levels of the game. YouTuber Graslu00 also posted a gameplay video of the entire mod to show what the final product will look like.

The first mission includes the classic jump from the movie, with the Union Jack printed on Bond’s Parachute. Those who saw the video complimented the effort and had great things to say about the overall gameplay and music.
However, there is still no word on the release of the long-awaited GoldenEye 007 remaster. The speculation started in 2016 following the leak of a canceled Xbox remake. It gained momentum again in 2021 when Graslu00 posted a gameplay video of the entire canceled game. However, there was no further information about it for a while after that, until January 2022, when a bunch of new achievements were spotted for the game.
Since then, a report has suggested that the game’s development is stuck due to the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict. As of this moment, it seems that the game will never see the light of day despite 2022 being the 25th anniversary of the game. Although, we did get a documentary about GoldenEye
