A hilarious announcement trailer for Goat Simulator 3 was revealed during Summer Game Fest 2022. The first installment in the bizarre third-person simulator series, developed by Coffee Stain Studios, was released back in 2014. Since then Goat Simulator has appeared on PS Plus and other platforms, and now a third installment has been officially announced.
The unique and unusual Goat Simulator has been compared to a skateboarding game by developer Coffee Stain Studios. However, instead of taking them to skate park to perform impressive acrobatic feats, the game casts players as a goat and tasks them with destroying as much property as possible. Goat Simulator features a vast open world for players to spread mayhem across, with a ragdoll physics engine making the chaos extremely amusing. In 2016 a sequel, titled Goat Simulator: Waste of Space, brought the livestock antics into outer space. Since release Goat Simulator has stood out compared to similar games like Animal Shelter Simulator, and now Coffee Stain Studios is delivering a full-blown third entry.
