While the area isexperiencing a severe uptick in COVID cases, it is said that very few cases were reported on the set of the film. The current length of the hiatus is unknown, though reports say it could be as long as three months.

Ticket to Paradise was set to release on October 21, 2022, though that date is likely to change if the film ends up losing months to the shutdown. The film reunites Clooney and Roberts, who previously worked together on Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve, and Money Monster. Though the production plans to continue, both actors are said to have already flown out of the country.
