Genshin Impact's next update, Zephyr of the Violet Garden, will officially launch on March 30 and features a number of new additions to the action-RPG. The Chasm, a brand-new area located at the westernmost part of Liyue, will be available to explore, the newest five-star character Kamisato Ayato will debut, and the Magnificent Irodori Festival will kick off in this update. For the newest character in the roster, Kamisato Ayato functions as an offensive warrior who uses a combination of hydro sword attacks and teleportation to cleave through enemies. Ayato can also leave behind an explosive after-image that further weakens enemies with a storm of swords. To top it all off, Ayato can increase the normal attack damage of your team and he gains an elemental skill charging buff when not in play.
For upcoming events, there's plenty to look forward to as well.
