A new post on the official Genshin Impact subReddit shows an incredibly realistic video featuring the popular Mondstadt region. Even though there is a lot of hype about new regions like the recently added land of Sumeru, some fans still take inspiration from the oldest parts of the game.
Mondstadt is the first region every Genshin Impact player encounters at the start of their journey. After a couple of simple quests, they encounter the only remaining Outrider of the Knights of Favonius named Amber who welcomes them to the city of Mondstadt.

Reddit user 0x384c0 has shared a video in which they manage to turn Mondstadt into a lifelike location. A number of replies in the comment section claim that they've actually thought that the footage was taken from real life until the famous dragon named Dvalin appeared on the screen. The video was well-received in the community as the thread gathered over 2.2k upvotes. Redditor 0x384c0 is well-known in the community for creating similar projects that always get a lot of attention. Players love that the video includes small details like the smoke from the Hilichurl camp that appears on the left side of the video which makes the place look even more realistic.
The video also puts a perspective on how enormous the Dragonspine mountains are in comparison to the rest of the region. According to a couple of comments, the forest parts of the region could be smaller, but other fans claim that the official Genshin Impact manga describes Mondstadt as a windy region covered with dense forests.
