Baldur's Gate 3 is a hit so far, amassing way more players than Larian Studios was expecting. But as it climbs through the Steam charts, there was no way that it was going to please everyone. Lo and behold, a few days after launch, a group of gamers have come together to share their grievances with the ultra-popular RPG. It just so happens that these grievances are pretty daft.
On Steam, dudebros are crying that other male characters are hitting on them. Yes, they know you can just shoot them down, but that's not good enough, apparently. The fact that male characters would even assume they swing that way is enough to cause offence. I mean, a guy hitting on your when you're not interested? Must be awful, we can only imagine.

"Are there no straight characters in this game?" asks a Steam user. "Literally every character can be seduced and hits on you constantly. This is immersion breaking.
"Let us select whether or not we're straight in the character creator. Have the party acknowledge you're not gay, so you don't have to perpetually put down and stave off every male hitting on you."
I'm not quite sure what this guy means by "immersion breaking", particularly since the alternative would be everyone pinning their sexuality to their forehead. But this message has resonated with other players.
"The game just isn't fun when everyone around you constantly wants to gloryhole your character...that is NOT D&D," says one commenter. "Agree 100%, and it's gonna get worse unless we purge them," ominously replies another.
