With PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles being such hot commodities, it's incredibly rare to find used versions at GameStop, and so when TikTok user rainbowbabe91's husband saw one at their local store, they jumped at the opportunity to buy it.
In a viral TikTok video that has over 105,000 views and over 10,000 likes at the time of this writing, rainbowbabe91 discussed their experience with buying a used Xbox Series X console from GameStop. According to rainbowbabe91's account, her husband set up the Xbox Series X console and everything seemed fine, but then the next day it was making strange noises. It was then discovered that the used Xbox Series X console allegedly had cockroaches living inside it.
GameStop Lost Over $100 Million This Past Quarter
As one might imagine, this greatly upset rainbowbabe91, who has posted a number of updates on the «buggy Xbox» situation on her TikTok page. The latest video provides an update on where the situation is now. Apparently, GameStop offered rainbowbabe91 a gift card and discounted Xbox console to make up for the situation, but she wants GameStop to provide an exterminator. In the latest video, rainbowbabe91 claims that the GameStop district manager is dodging her calls and that she is ready to contact an attorney.
