FX has announced that the crime drama Snowfall has been renewed for a sixth and final season.
Co-created by the late John Singleton, Snowfall revolves around the 1980s crack epidemic in Los Angeles. Singleton, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 51, was the first African American director to be nominated for an Oscar for his 1991 film Boyz n the Hood.The Snowfall series focuses on an ensemble cast of characters, including young drug kingpin Franklin Saint, played by Damien Idris.
