While it is possible to succeed with both characters, a recent Overwatch clip shows a Roadhog user getting the better of a Sombra — though neither side expected this to happen.
As anyone with even a surface level knowledge of Overwatch will likely know, Roadhog’s deadliest weapon is his hook. When playing the beefy Tank hero, nothing is more important than landing hooks and pulling enemies toward the team. With Roadhog able to one shot a lot of DPS heroes after pulling them in with a hook, the character can deal a lot of damage with ease. However, players will rarely see Roadhog landing hooks on Sombra, making a clip from Reddit user Vexonity incredibly cool.

The reason that Sombra users are so hard to catch in Overwatch is the character’s Stealth ability. A good Sombra will stay invisible and wait for the perfect moment to strike, as the only time her camouflage breaks is when she is shot or chooses to break it by attacking. With Sombra completely invisible apart from brief, purple flashes when she comes near enemies, Roadhog is essentially hopeless when trying to catch the character. With a Sombra causing trouble by contesting the point and lurking near Vexonity’s healers, though, they felt they had to take a shot at hooking her.
