Fortnite's next major Marvel collaboration could be imminent, as a notable leaker has revealed that Marvel's Dr. Strange could be making his way to the popular battle royale title in Season 2, ahead of its next planned movie sequel. Fortnite has been heavily defined by its crossovers, with some of its notable partnerships including Star Wars, DC's Batman, Resident Evil, and an abundance of Marvel characters and events. Epic Games recently revealed one of its biggest crossovers to date, bringing everyone's favorite web-head Spider-Man to Fortnite along with his web-shooters that allow players to easily traverse the map with a swinging ability.
Fortnite's Chapter 3 was released with new additions, mechanics, and a brand-new map with distinctive POIs that can be easily used to utilize many of its newest features and gain XP. Similar to previous seasons, the chapter's first season includes a collection of new content including characters, cosmetics, and new game mechanics such as sliding, swinging, and a tent system, which can now be used to regenerate health, rest, and store items that can be collected at the start of each game. Additionally, many more Marvel characters have made appearances in the free-to-play battle royale's latest season, with the comic-accurate Green Goblin hovering into Fortnite with his villain's numerous cosmetics and both Hawkeye's Clint and Kate making an appearance.
