Fort Solis Announced at Summer Game Fest With Troy Baker and Roger Clark
The reveal trailer for Fort Solis debuted during Summer Games Fest 2022, and it features heavy-hitting actors in the lead roles. Troy Baker and Roger Clark play characters that are members of a Martian mining crew that must survive being on their own as communications with Earth are cut off. The trailer's dark and ominous tone sets the stage for a space survival horror experience akin to some movies in the same vein.
After a Martian sandstorm damages Fort Solis, it will be up to Wyatt Taylor and Jack Leary to keep the facility running. The timing couldn't be worse for the team as Earth and Mars are at the farthest point from each other in the solar system and help won't arrive for months at best. The trailer teases that the game will explore some mystery elements and if the stranded crew can work together long enough to survive. The reveal trailer gave no hints at what gameplay looks like, but the game is described as being a third-person «tight thriller» and promises «top-notch» graphics from the Fallen Leaf developers using Unreal 5 Engine.

The game will be one of Roger Clark's first big projects after his role as Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2 shot his fame to new levels. Troy Baker solidifies his stake as arguably one of the busiest actors in the video game space and the vibe of Fort Solis looks to be drawing on his skills as a dramatic actor. In an interview with Geoff Keighley after the trailer reveal, Troy Baker likened the experience of the game to a mix between Dead Space and Duncan Jones' 2009 film Moon.
