Square Enix has announced the launch of a Forspoken PC demo coinciding with the game’s release today.The free PC demo will be available today via Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store.“In the PC demo, players will face-off with a variety of enemies and test their fighting abilities with an extensive arsenal of attack and support magic that will prepare them for the high-octane action they can expect to encounter in the full game,” Square Enix said.Forspoken is the debut game from Square Enix’s Luminous Productions studio.
Following a couple of delays, it was released today for PS5 and PC. The console version currently has a score of 68 on review aggregation website Metacritic based on 63 reviews.Forspoken follows Frey Holland, a young woman who is transported from New York to an ancient, fantastical land called Athia.
In search of a way home, she must wield newfound magical powers to traverse the world and fend off the monstrous creatures that inhabit it.Square Enix released a PS5 demo of the game in December, which was updated last week with several new features.
