The Early Access beta version of Football Manager 2023 is available for download now on PC and Mac.
According to Sega, the beta is available to download now on the Steam and Epic Games Store, with the Microsoft Store version expected “in the coming days”.
Players can download the Early Access beta by pre-ordering the game from a Sega-approved digital retailer. Anyone who’s ordered the game from one of these retailers can sign into Steam or Epic and launch it directly from their library.
Anyone who hasn’t pre-ordered the game from a digital retailer can still do so between now and the game’s release date of November 8 and will gain immediate access to the Early Access beta.
The Early Access version is considered “near complete but not quite final” by Sega, meaning players may encounter bugs and issues which can be reported in-game.
Online play is also enabled in Early Access, but there is no access to the pre-game or in-game editors – these will be made available when the full game is released on November 8.
Sega states that players who start a single-player career in the Early Access beta will be able to carry it across to the full game at launch.
This year’s release of Football Manager will include newly-licensed competitions like the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League.
It will also be appearing on PlayStation home consoles for the first time (the series previously appeared on PSP and Vita) as well as Apple Arcade.
Xbox players will gain access to both the console and PC versions of the game on Xbox Game Pass on the day of release.
