Ebb Software has announced the regional release times for its highly anticipated first-person indie horror game Scorn ahead of the upcoming launch in October. Xbox and PC gamers can preload Scorn ahead of time so that they can start playing immediately once their region has reached the release time.
Serbian indie studio Ebb Software has been working on Scornfor quite a long time, first announcing Scorn in 2014, a year after the studio's founding. In the years since that first announcement, Scorn's development process has been beset by numerous difficulties ranging from a failed Kickstarter campaign and several restarts before eventually launching a second successful Kickstarter campaign and finally reaching a state of completion.

Players can look forward to experiencing the game first-hand on the October 14 launch. In addition, the global release time will have players in-game at 03:00 PST in Los Angeles, 06:00 EST in New York, 11:00 BST in London, 23:00 NZDT in Auckland, New Zealand, and the equivalent times in other time zones.
Ahead of its release, various trailers for Scornhave already revealed some of the gameplay and striking visuals element featured in the game, showcasing unsettling visuals that are clearly inspired by H.R. Giger of Alien fame as well as the nightmarish hellscapes of renowned Polish dystopian surrealism painter Zdzisław Beksiński. The game will be heavily based on the player solving strange puzzles while avoiding horrific abominations, occasionally fighting enemies in first-person combat with an arsenal of even creepier biomechanical weapons, such as a shotgun that looks like a spinal cord with its own grotesque organ system.
