OnePlus could reportedly launch its first foldable phone next year. Alongside Samsung, OnePlus is one of the few Android smartphone brands that has a global presence in the premium segment. However, folding smartphones are conspicuously missing from the company's portfolio. OnePlus is looking to rectify that, and if the latest report is anything to go by, that could happen as early as next year.
Rumors about OnePlus' folding phones have been doing the rounds for months now. In April, a report claimed that OnePlus' first folding smartphone will be based on the Oppo Find N that was launched in China last December. Another report from November 2021 suggested that the company might be working on a tri-folding smartphone with two hinges. There is, however, no specific information about that device right now.

Reliable tipster Max Jambor has now tweeted a teaser image suggesting that OnePlus will be launching a foldable phone in 2023. However, it seems that more than one foldable phone is in the works. Jambor told 9to5Google that the company has «multiple» folding products in the pipeline for 2023. He didn't reveal details about any of these devices, which led the publication to speculate that one of them might be the second-generation Oppo Find N that is slated to be released later this year. That might not be a far-fetched idea, given that many of OnePlus' phones are either rebranded or slightly reworked versions of existing Oppo devices.
