A Finding Nemo television series is now rumored to be coming soon to Disney Plus. Following its 2003 release, Finding Nemo quickly became one of the most beloved, remembered, referenced, and successful Pixar Animation Studios movies of all time.
Pixar's Finding Nemo follows Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks), a worried-single father who also happens to be a clownfish. Marlin goes on a quest to find his lost son, Nemo, after he is captured by divers. Throughout his adventure, Marlin finds some helpful, fellow sea creatures to help and accompany him on his journey, the most notable being Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres), a blue fish with short term memory loss. After helping Marlin successfully reunite with his son, Dory became the star of the 2016 sequel, Finding Dory. While Finding Nemo is a story of separation and loss, Finding Dory is a story about coming together and new beginnings.
