Final Fantasy 16's first gameplay trailer has been revealed at PlayStation's June State of Play, as well as a release window of Summer 2023.
After more than a year of waiting for new information, we've finally got another look at Final Fantasy 16. The trailer started with producer Naoki Yoshida thanking fans for waiting so long. Yoshida announced that interviews with the media will also be starting following the trailer, so more information can be expected in the near future.

As many had predicted, Final Fantasy 16 looks like it's going to take a lot of cues from third-party action games. The combat shown here is somewhere in the middle of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Devil May Cry. Clive is seen using attacks that draw opponents up into the air for combos before slamming to them to the ground with a big glowing fist.
