Ted Lasso and his team, AFC Richmond, will officially be a part of FIFA 23. EA Sports announced this with a trailer showcasing the details of its collaboration with the popular Apple TV+ show.
The official announcement on the EA website reads, “…Ted Lasso, Coach Beard, and the biggest stars of the AFC Richmond squad including Jamie Tartt, Dani Rojas, Sam Obisanya, Roy Kent, and Isaac McAdoo will all be authentically integrated into FIFA 23, along with Nelson Road–the club’s home ground”. The video ends with Jason Sudekis' voice in the background saying, “EA Sports, I’m in the game,” which is the most Coach Lasso thing ever.

Ted Lasso recently bagged multiple Emmys and the series is popular with audiences across the globe.
There are also a bunch of other additions and changes to the game which look pretty exciting. The all-new HyperMotion2 tech used in the game promises to deliver a realistic experience while players are jostling, dribbling, and moving off-the-ball. To add to the excitement, Marvel will also design special player cards for the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team mode. These will celebrate iconic players who turned into heroes for their clubs and each of these heroes will also get a separate illustrated version when the World Cup mode is added later this year.
