When Fortnite's Battle Royale mode came out in 2017, no one could have imagined the stratospheric heights of popularity the game would soon reach. Despite having a sea of competitors, Fortnite still remains at the top of the hill, proudly wearing its golden crown. While its mechanics and general premise have gone a long way in keeping players invested, it's the ever-evolving nature of the game that keeps players coming back week after week.
Along with constant patches and updates that change the game world and add new weapons and abilities, Fortnite also keeps players invested by providing a plethora of purchasable skins, often based on popular movie, TV, and video game properties. Beginning a year ago, a handful of popular Street Fighter characters have been added to Fortnite, along with some other cosmetic items that reference the beloved fighting franchise.
Fortnite Leak Teases Return of Klombo With Interesting Twist
The first Street Fighter pack to be released, the Ryu and Chun-Li bundle hit the Fortnite store page on February 21, 2021. Players could spend 2,200 V-Bucks to receive the whole pack, which included highly detailed outfits of two of the most famous Street Fighter characters, Ryu and Chun-Li.
Chun-Li had two available outfits to equip; the first being her classic look, with the puffy shoulder pads, long tunic dress, and white boots. Her other outfit, labeled as the «Nostalgic» outfit, is based on Chun-Li's appearance in the Street Fighter Alpha series, looking more like a sporting costume.
Ryu also came with two outfits, the first being his classic white gi and red headband combo, and the second being a shirtless variation with brown ripped jeans and a beard, called the «Battle» outfit. The bundle also included
