Pattinson also claims that his lies happen due to his “heavy saliva,” which is an odd but probably true statement. One of Pattinson’s first lies that made headlines was that he doesn’t shower or wash his hair. This story came to fruition in an article titled “Robert Pattinson Stinks” (Seventeen Magazine) in March 2009, when he began to rise to fame following Twilight. This lie wasn’t fully addressed until 2014, when Pattinson finally said that he does shower and brush his teeth (The Wallstreet Journal).
