However, the Epic Games Store has decided to surprise users with the addition of a bonus free game that they will be able to claim within that same time window. So, from June 30 to July 7, Epic Games Store users will also be getting Hood: Outlaws & Legends completely free of charge.

For the uninitiated, Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a PvP-focused game that just released last year. It received mostly mixed reviews from critics, but still, many won't complain about getting a game for free. This could potentially boost the game's player count as well, especially since there are no requirements to claiming a free game from the Epic Games Store besides having the Epic Games Store launcher downloaded.
This brings the grand total of Epic Games Store free games for June 30 — July 7 to three, all of which will be available to claim starting June 30 at 10:00am CT. At that point, the Epic Games Store is likely to reveal the free games coming in the following week, July 7 — July 14, but EGS users will have to wait for June 30 to roll around to find out what next month has in store in terms of free games.
