A new Elden Ring update makes it much easier for players to notice Boc the Seamster and begin his emotional questline. FromSoftware's open-world epic features a number of different non-player characters with their own storylines, but the lack of a quest log can make it difficult to track these narratives. Elden Ring's talking tree Bocis found in the starting region of Limgrave, but many players unfortunately missed this hidden NPC.

These supporting characters can be followed throughout the game to experience an evolving storyline, though Elden Ring's massive open world of The Lands Between can make following these figures very challenging. A post-launch patch for the game marks NPCs on the player's map, making it much easier to follow characters between locations, but many questlines are still elusive. His transformation into a tree made simply meeting Boc for the first time a challenge, but Boc's questline in Elden Ring just got a bit easier to manage.
