The Lands Between map in Elden Ring has received an incredible Super Mario-inspired makeover. Elden Ring's Lands Between locale spreads far and wide on a map that players can leisurely explore, much akin to that of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Of course, veering too far off in one direction may result in a user stumbling across ridiculously difficult enemies, but such is the thrill of wandering the FromSoftware-created open-world landscape.
Since Elden Ring's release on PC and consoles this past February, the internet has become inundated with nifty tools that break down the best exploration practices in FromSoftware's latest opus. An interactive map on the game's official Wiki, for instance, marks the locations of all items, NPCs, upgrades, and Sites of Grace. A fan-made Elden Ring map that made the rounds several weeks ago goes so far as to pinpoint the location of all non-dungeon boss characters. Unsurprisingly, Elden Ring faithful continue to find creative ways of making the Lands Between a little easier to navigate.

Twitter user Lucky Bun recently shared a their recreation of the Lands Between map, which reimagines the Elden Ring location with a Super Mario-inspired design scheme. The stylized map doesn't showcase every detail but major areas of note such as Caelid, Limgrave, Liurnia of the Lakes, and Atlus Plateau are represented. Even off-the-beaten path spaces such as Elden Ring's Nokron, Eternal City and Crumbling Farum Azula appear in the Super Mario-like map's top-left and bottom-right corners, respectively.
